Wilma Jean Gilbert

Wilma Jean Gilbert, age 86, of Lamar, Missouri passed away July 1, 2023, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
 
Wilma was born March 14, 1937 in Joplin, MO to Sidney Earl Percy and Dillia Josephine (Baston) Percy. 
 
Wilma was a retired elementary school secretary.

Survivors include one son, Mark Gilbert and his wife Rhonda; one daughter-in-law, Gwen Gilbert; three grandchildren, Mandy (Mickeal) Winefeldt, Carissa (Zhan) Mourning and Zach Glossip; two great-grandchildren, Brett Winefeldt and Raven Winefeldt.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney & Dillia Percy, brother, George Percy, sister, Mary Pritchard, son, Brian Gilbert, and grandson, Jacob Gilbert.
 
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023 at Iantha Cemetery in Lamar, Missouri.
