William Nash

William “Bill” Joseph Nash, age 75, of Lamar, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Truman Healthcare Center. Bill was born, March 21, 1938 at Golden City, MO to James Edgar Nash and Eula Lucille (Primmer) Nash.  After graduating from High School, he served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1978 as a Master Sergeant.  He also worked as a paint line supervisor at Thorco Mfg. Bill is survived by a son, James J. Nash of College Grove, TN; his girlfriend, Rebecca Collins; one sister, Linda Zachmyer, of Lamar, MO; two granddaughters Jessca Nash and Melissa Nash; two nephews Jamie Crocket of Lamar, Greg Hunt of Columbia, MO; and one niece, Carla Crockett, of Columbia, MO; two cousins, Warren & Eunice Walter and Roger & Suzie Walker. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Lee Nash. Memorial service will be 10:00 am Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Daniel Funeral Home with Full Military Honors.  Burial will be 1:30 pm at Ft. Scott National Cemetery.
