Vicky A. Myers

Vicky Arlene Myers, age 68, of Jasper, Missouri died Thursday, February 8, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident North of Carthage.      Vicky was born September 4, 1949 in Jasper County, Missouri to George Harrison and Genevieve Irene (Pennington) Waltz. She graduated Jasper High School in 1967. Vicky enjoyed puzzles, coloring, baking, collecting angels, riding around in her golf cart through the thicket, but her pride and joy of her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her dog Jill.      Vicky leaves behind one daughter, Melanie (Ryan) Jones, Barling, Arkansas; her boyfriend, Eddie Bastings, Carterville, Missouri;  two sisters, Barbara (Sam) Foster, and Debbie (Charles) Willhite, all of Lamar; her grandchildren, Nathan Jones, Pittsburg, Kansas, Kadi Jones (Kevin White) Lamar, Wyatt Jones, and Sara Jones, Barling, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Sophia White, and Weston Jones; and her mother, Genevieve Waltz.     Preceding her in death were her father, George Waltz, brother Gary Waltz, and niece Buffy Russell and nephew Jeremy Duncan. Memorial Service is 6:00 PM Thursday February 15, the family will receive family and friends after the memorial service.
