Thelma Louise Williams, age 69, of Weir, Kansas passed away March 23, 2022, at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Thelma was born December 25, 1952 in Modesto, California to Damon Everett Stevens and Martha Jane (Bronson) Stevens.
Thelma worked as a certified nurse aide. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin and grandma and a Christian. Thelma loved knitting and made all of her grandchildren a baby blanket. She loved fishing, slot machines and playing cards with the girls and was well known as the "Skipbo" queen. Thelma and her mischievous grin will be forever loved and missed.
Survivors include three daughters, Georgiana Williams (David Miller) of Olathe, Kansas, Patricia (Craig) Ahrens of Pittsburg, Kansas and Amy (Mike) Pearce of Scammon, Kansas; four brothers, Danny Stevens of California, Michael Stevens, Billy Stevens and Stacy Stevens all of Pittsburg, Kansas; three sisters, Mary Devore of Weir, Kansas, Wilma Bevenue of Joplin (Thelma's twin sister), Missouri and Donna Long of Pittsburg, Kansas; eight grandchildren; Kevin, Janet, Elizabeth, Mary, Molly, Cesly, Erin and Shannon and 14 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Randy and Wayne; a sister, Debra; and great-grandson, Peyton.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
