Terry Dockery

Terry Lee Dockery, age 73, of Carthage, MO passed away at his home, Tuesday, July 14, 2020.   Terry was born December 15, 1946 in Lamar, MO to Leland Carl Dockery and Julia Naomi (Crosson) Dockery. After graduating from Lamar High School, he served in the United States Army and on April 24, 1971 he married Crystal M. Sorenson in Carthage, MO.   Terry worked for many years at the Dyno Nobel plant in Carthage, MO, was a member of the Jasper VFW and enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring old Ford’s. He was a member of Irwin Community Church.   Survivors include his wife Crystal Dockery of the home; one son, Aaron (Nancy) Dockery, Carthage, MO; one daughter Segren Cagle, Joplin, MO; three grandchildren, Shelby Dockery, Katelyn Dockery and Kelly Dockery; and dozens of cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Deana Dockery.   A graveside service will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 at St. James Cemetery, Milford, MO.   The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Irwin Community Church, Irwin, MO.   Memorial contributions are suggested and made payable to St. James Cemetery in care of Daniel Funeral Home.     Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
