Steven Edwin Dighero, age 71, of Lamar, Missouri, passed away on April 27, 2025.
Steven was born on July 11, 1953, in Fort Scott, Kansas, to George Edwin Dighero and Delores Jean Burke. Throughout his life, Steven was known for his dedication to his work and his passion for the outdoors. He had a long and respected career at Dow Chemical, where he served as a lead incident investigator.
A true enthusiast at heart, Steven had a deep love for motorcycles and classic cars. He also enjoyed spending time on the farm, hunting, and fishing. His adventurous spirit and appreciation for nature were well known by all who knew him. Steven was a proud member of the Masons and the Shriners, organizations that reflect his commitment to community and service.
He is survived by his son, Casey Dighero of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his daughter, Holly Shay Dighero-Mendez and her husband Fernando of Rogers, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Lillian Dighero-Ross and her husband Camden of Rogers, AR, Georgianna Dighero of Fayetteville, AR, Andrew Mendez of Fayetteville, AR, and Summer Mendez of Rogers, AR; and his brother, George Dighero and his wife Tammy of Lamar, MO.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dennis Dighero.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Bluff Cemetery, west of Irwin, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested and may be made payable to Bluff Cemetery, in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
