Sharon Diane Brayfield

Sharon Diane Brayfield, age 72, of Lamar, Missouri, passed away on May 27, 2025.

Sharon was born on October 9, 1952, in Moline, Illinois, to Wallace Sanderson and Ruth Dorene (Stone) Sanderson. On April 2, 2005, she married Jackie Lee Brayfield in Lamar, Missouri. Their time together was brief but cherished before Jackie’s passing in July 2006.

Sharon was known for her strong work ethic and versatility in the restaurant industry — she could do it all. Her joyful spirit and love for 1950s music filled her home, where she could often be found dancing and singing along with her favorite tunes.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (J.C.) Minor and Derek Brayfield; three stepchildren, Adam Brayfield, Leanna Brayfield, and Angela Brayfield; eight grandchildren, Loggan, Patricia, Seth, Abbey, Zander, Grayson, Zavier, and Dorothy Jo; one sister, Sheila Valdez; and her dear friend, Carl Coffelt.

In addition to her husband and parents, Sharon was preceded in death by one brother.
