Randy Davis

Randy J. Davis, age 53, of Lamar, Missouri, passed away peacefully in the company of his parents and sons, on Friday, June 10, 2016 at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX after a tough battle with cancer. Randy was born April 14, 1963 at Monett, Missouri to Gene and Theresa (Cronister) Davis.  He started kindergarten at Lamar Schools and was part of the Great Class of 1981. He attended college at SMSU in Springfield, Missouri. He married Carol Harris and together they had two sons, Wyatt Hunter Davis and Morgan Joseph Davis. Randy and Carol later divorced. He was co-owner of TLT Wire Products in Nevada, Missouri, and had most recently worked as a sales representative for Leggett and Platt in Carthage, Missouri before retiring due to medical issues. Randy loved hunting and fishing and his dogs, Bo and Bud.  He was of the Catholic faith and a charter member and officer of the Lamar Elks Club #2800. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be 2:00 pm Monday, June 20, 2016 at Daniel Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends following the service.
