Peggy Lou Kinsey

Peggy Lou Kinsey, age 39, of Lamar, Missouri passed away early Saturday morning, July 9, 2022, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin . Peggy was born March 18, 1983 in Springfield, Missouri, second of the three children of Calvin and Rhonda (Sparks) Trent. Peggy graduated from Greenfield High School in the class of 2001 and then earned certification as a CNA and CMT. She was a compassionate caregiver and friend to the staff and patients of Joplin Gardens for the past 14 years. On January 24, 2011, Peggy married Charles Davin Kinsey in Miller, Missouri. When Peggy wasn't working she cherished family time, especially with Davin and their "fur-baby" Dozzer. She enjoyed 3-D puzzles, diamond art, paranormal movies, dolphins, the Dallas Cowboys, and just about anything purple. Survivors include her husband, Davin; her parents, Calvin and Rhonda Trent, Lamar; maternal grandmother, Martha Sparks; a brother, Willis Trent, Fulton, Missouri; a sister, Connie Brinson (Daniel Wetherell), Lamar; and a host of extended family and many dear co-workers and friends.. Peggy was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Steve Sparks and Grandmother, Melba Trent. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Gum Springs Cemetery in Stockton, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time on Friday, July15, 2022 at the funeral home. Contributions are suggested and made payable to Rhonda Trent to help with expenses.
