Edna Pearl Clark, age 83, of Lamar, Missouri passed away at her home Sunday, July 1, 2018 after a short illness.
Edna was born February 14, 1935 in Sheldon, Missouri to Travis and Necie (Ambler) Wells. On July 5, 1952, she married Herbert Leroy Clark in Huntsville, Arkansas and he preceded her in death, May 9, 2014.
Edna and Herb owned and operated Sam’s Place Pool Hall, Club 71, Pearl’s Place, Trackside Café, and Treasure Corner in Lamar. Pearl and Herb also raised and sold many different breeds of dogs to pet lovers all over the United States. Her most recent job was volunteering as a cashier at The Good Samaritan Shop.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Lucas, Lamar, Missouri; a grandson, Scott (Kristian) Lucas, Jasper, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Wyatt, and Parker “Bailey Jordan”; a niece Tammy Krewsen and special friends Austin and Jamie Carsel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Joan Smith, and grandson, Jason Lucas.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends, 2:00 until 4:00 pm, Wednesday July 4, 2018 at the funeral home.
