Ona Arlene Null

Ona Arlene (Clements) Null, age 88, of Lamar, Missouri passed away March 2, 2024, at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.
Ona was born June 12, 1935, in Lamar, MO to Ora Deigh Clements and Mary Irene (Divine) Clements. Ona graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 1953, where she was an excellent baton twirler for the school's marching band.
From there, Ona would work for over 30 years in the telephone services for, Southwestern Bell and Sprint, starting as a switchboard operator, and ending in the fraud department before she would retire.

Ona met and fell in love with Donald Null. They would marry on February 6, 1960, at the Lamar First Baptist Church. They would grow old together, traveling, raising a family and just enjoying each other for nearly 60 years, until Donald passed on November 30, 2020.

She was the foundation of our family through and through! Being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was the greatest joy of her life. She always knew the right thing to say, never missed a special event or date, and she always supported us through every struggle and passion that came into our lives. She made it her mission to always put family first! Cooking was also a big part of her life, and she was extremely good at it. She always made sure everyone would have their own special sweet treat.
