Noel Grigery

Noel Cornelius Grigery, 88, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away, Thursday, February 3, 2022 at St. Lukes Nursing Center, Carthage, Missouri. He was born July 1, 1933 in Piedmont, Missouri, son of William Thomas and Allie Tabitha (Clements) Grigery.   Noel worked as a Installer/Repairman for Southwestern Bell/AT&T for thirty eight and a half years. He also volunteered at Good Samaritan for twelve years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, family reunions, telling stories, joking around, horseshoes, and being outside.   Noel proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army as a Corporal.   He was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church, Festus, Missouri. Where he was a deacon, door greater and he loved his time spent fellowshipping there.   On, October 6, 1956 he was united in marriage to Lorinda Mae Rosan and to this union two children were born. They shared sixty five years of marriage together.   He is survived by his loving wife, Lorinda Mae (Rosan) Grigery of Carthage, his two children, Douglas (Kim) Grigery of Carthage, and Susie (Louis) Sees of Pikeville, North Carolina, his siblings, Thomas Eugene Grigery of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Dorothy Hardisty of DeSoto, his grandchildren, Joshua (Brandy) Hepler, Cody (Krystal) Lipe, Brandon (Brenda) Lipe, Louis Sees, Tyler (Sara) Grigery, and Charlene Peppes, his great-grandchildren, Michael, Aubrey, Grant, Elijah, Addison, Wesley, Dean, Kalliope, Brenden, Graham, Ava, Baker, JD, and Sloane, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.   Noel was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Grigery, his mother, Allie Tabitha (Clements) Grigery, his siblings, Leroy Grigery, Schrilda Pogue, LaVerne Smith, Shirley Brake, and Etta Robertson.   Services will be held at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, Festus, Missouri, February 9, 2022 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Matt Culbertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Piedmont Masonic Cemetery, Piedmont, Missouri.   Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 9370 Olive Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63132-3258.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri.   Memorials/Donations Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 9370 Olive Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63132-3258.
