Nichole L. Sawyer

Nichole Lynn Sawyer, 27, made the trip to her eternal home at 10:39 am on Sunday, September 17, 2017.  She was taken from this world by a drunk driver, but she was escorted home on the wings of angels to a place of peace that surpasses our understanding.  She will never be forgotten.  Nichole was born February 13, 1990 in Joplin, MO.  She was a single mother who dedicated her days to her true love, her daughter, Tianna Marie Miller, currently seven years old.  She was a creative, giving and a free spirit who loved nature and had an understanding of joy and contentment that some never fully understand.  She was in awe of the universe always, and now—she’s in the hands of the One that created it. She will never have another unanswered question; she will never be thirsty again. She is alive, pure, complete lacking nothing and filled with the living water, for all of eternity. She is survived by her Mother, Vickie Dubois; her daughter Tianna Miller; her brother and sisters, Amber and John Smith and Roy and Elizabeth Sawyer; her nephews and nieces, Kaleb, Andrew, Kayden, Lilianna, and Abigail.  She also has several aunts and uncles that love her dearly; Connie and Shawn Arndt, Kenny Johnson, Ronnie and Tammy Johnson, Kevin and Shelly Johnson, Crystal and Preston Shipman and Rebecca Johnson. Cousins are too numerous to list—but the love is no less deep. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Neoma Darlene Daggett, Ronnie Daggett, Edwin Meyer & Mable Meyer. True to her character, Nichole’s final act was to give of herself, even in her death. Her spirit is living on as she was an organ donor.  Countless lives will be forever changed by her choice. Though she died; she died that others may live.  Her physical body has been cremated & the family will scatter her ashes at a later date, privately.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 pm on Monday, September 25th, 2017 at Central Christian Center, 430 S. Virginia St. Joplin, MO. and Doug Wilkerson will officiate. The parking lot is on the SW corner of 5th & Virginia (with the teen center building) and the sanctuary entrance is on the NW corner of 5th & Virginia.   In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate in one of two ways; either make the decision to be an organ donor yourself…or you can make monetary contributions that will be set aside for Tianna’s future through a Go Fund Me account.   https://www.gofundme.com/ykr5p-devastating-death-of-young-mother/donate
