Nelson Earl Webb

Nelson Earl Webb, age 63, of Golden City, Missouri passed away September 17, 2020, at Mercy Hospital of Joplin. Nelson was born July 2, 1957 in Lamar, MO to Delbert Webb Jr. and Jean Marie (Sullivan) Webb. Nelson graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 1975. On October 7, 1978, Nelson married the love of his life Linda Louise Forste in Golden City, MO.   Nelson worked at Prairie Screening in Lockwood, MO, but he couldn't be described with a single title. Nelson was great at many things. He was an award winning writer, a professional musician, a philosopher and a friend, but most importantly to him, he was a husband, a father and a grandad. He loved his family with a vigor, passion and ferocity that can never be measured in words.   Survivors include his wife Linda, three sons; Gabreil, Golden City, MO, Andrew (Eleena) Webb, Clever, MO, Matthew (Ansley) Webb, Joplin, MO, one daughter; Sarah (Jason) Engle, Golden City, MO, one brother; Gregg Webb, Golden City, one sister; Vicki (Andre) Lenz, Celina, Texas, nine grandchildren; Halli Webb, Mason Webb, Addison Engle, Bentley Engle, Maci Webb, Lanie Engle, Acey Webb, Brody Webb, Oliver Engle, his mother-in-law; Peggy Forste, Lockwood, two brother-in-laws; David (Debbie) Forste and Clifton (Kay) Forste all of Golden City, MO, and life long friend; Carla (Tim) Davis of Golden, City, MO as well as nieces and nephews and a host of friends.   Preceding Nelson in death were his parents and his father-in-law, William (Bill) Forste.   He was loved by all who knew him and he will be sorely and genuinely missed.   Private family services were conducted.   Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
