Mary L. Pritchard

Mary Louise Pritchard, age 80, of Lamar, passed away May 8, 2015 at her home.      Mary was born March 25, 1935 at Iantha, MO to Sidney Percy and Della (Baston) Percy. At the age of six, she and her family moved to California. After graduating high school she married Harold E. Cowley and together they had two sons.  She then married Ned Pritchard and they were married 23 years until his death.      Mary was a homemaker and had worked in a floral shop and as an aide at a boarding home. She was active with her two boys as a Cub Scout Den Mother and involved in their sporting activities.      Survivors include one son, Kevin Cowley of Lamar, MO; one sister, Wilma Gilbert of Lamar, MO; four grandchildren, Cathleen Gerwick, Kevin Cowley II, Kimberly Cowley, and Kurt Cowley; four great grandchildren, November Gerwick, Trinity Gerwick, Damious Gerwick, and Ethan Cowley; and two nephews, Brian Gilbert of Lamar, MO and Mark Gilbert of Springfield, MO.      Preceding her in death were husbands Harold E. Cowley and Ned Pritchard; a son, Dennis Cowley in April 2015; a brother George Percy; and a grandson, Keith Cowley.      Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Iantha Cemetery with Rev. Roger McKee officiating.
