Marvina Lynn Oglesby

Marvina Lynn Oglesby, age 56, of Lamar, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lamar, MO.

Marvina was born on July 12, 1969, to Huey and Brenda Hobbs. She married the love of her life, Jeff Oglesby, on January 6, 2024, in Lamar, MO.

Marvina worked at Tractor’s BBQ in Lamar and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved hunting, fishing, caring for her animals, cooking, and most of all, spending time with friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Oglesby; her daughter, Crystal; three grandchildren; and a host of friends who were like family to her.

Marvina was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Milton and Daryl.
