Loyd Lee Gruver

Loyd Lee Gruver, age 78, of Lamar, Missouri passed away July 19, 2019, at his home. Loyd was born May 30, 1941 in Lamar, MO to Albert Franklin Gruver and Veda Maxine (Eberting) Gruver.  He served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1961. On December 14, 1970, Loyd married Roza Mary Carmichael in Dallas, TX. Loyd was a farmer from 1974 to 1989, retired as an over the road truck driver in 2002 and provided transportation for the Amish from 2012 to 2016, and was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle.Survivors include his wife Roza, of the home; a son Clayton "Scott" Springfield, Springfield, MO; three daughters, Debra Kay (David) Robinson, Hico, TX, Mary Gene Holder, Jerico Springs, MO, and Lottie (Jeff) Creasy, Columbia, MO; a brother, Darrell Allen (Denise) Gruver, Racine, MO; two sisters, Linda Jacoby, Pleasant Valley, MO and Sharon Perry, Holt, MO; a sister-in-law Susan Gruver, Lamar, MO; nine grandchildren, Quinton (Gaby) Robinson, Marble Falls, TX, C.J. (Liz) Robinson, Austin, TX, Kyle (Jamie) Holder, Jerico Springs, MO, Sam, Ben, Abe, and Max Creasy, Columbia, MO, Crystal (Cody) Manning, Bolivar, MO and Jessica (Caleb) Lawler, Springfield, MO; six great grandchildren, Logan, Morgan and Lucian Robinson, Marble Falls, TX, Jace, Josie Dawn and Jaycie Mae Holder, Jerico Springs, MO.Preceding Loyd in death were his father and step-mother Albert and Pollyanna Gruver, his mother, Veda Shatz, a sister, Carol Lynn Gruver, a brother Gerald Gruver; and a sister-in-law Beth Gruver. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, July 22, 2019 at Full Gospel Tabernacle with burial to follow in Howell Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time at the church
