Lisa Reinert-Medley

Lisa Louise Reinert-Medley, age 37, of Lamar, MO passed away suddenly Wednesday, February 11, 2015, in Lockwood, Missouri.    Lisa was born September 24, 1977 in Bellflower, CA to Kenneth Roger Reinert and Gayle Florence (Sedlacek) Reinert.    She was a 1995 Graduate of Greenfield, MO High School and was currently working on her Bachelors Degree in Child Development. She was Housekeeping Supervisor at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Lockwood, and had also worked at Barton County Memorial Hospital in the Dietary Department. Lisa’s family described her as “goofy” and fun-loving. She enjoyed cross stitching, her flower garden, and classic rock music. Lisa loved spending time with her family and her dog, “Mr. Bo Jangles”.    Survivors include two sons, Orion Zachary Medley and William Thomas Medley; one daughter, Kirsten Danielle Medley, all of the home; her former husband, Michael D. Medley of Wheatland, MO three brothers, Ken (Starri) Reinert and their children Kenneth & Kaily Reinert of Lamar, John Reinert and his children Brayton, McKenna, & Jacob Reinert of Minneapolis, MN, and Brian (Deedra) Beaty of Carthage, MO, and one sister, Carla (Charlie) Beatty-Evans of Liberal, MO.    Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Daniel Funeral Home Chapel, where the family will receive friends immediately after the service.    Memorial contributions are suggested to Humane Society of Barton County, American Heart Association, or Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure, in care of the funeral home.
