Linda Hines

Linda Deanna Hines, age 78, of Lamar, MO passed away January 2, 2020, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, MO.    Linda was born January 27, 1941 in Vinita, OK to Robert Wholf and Dana (Smith) Wholf. Linda graduated from Vinita High School and on August 12, 1962, she married Monty Richard Hines in Vinita, OK. She graduated from Pittsburg State University and was an elementary school teacher in Lamar for over 30 years. She was a member of Lamar First Christian Church. Linda was an avid collector of many things, but her favorite thing to collect was paper dolls.   Survivors include a son and his wife Ken and Karen Hines, Nevada, MO; a daughter Kenda Hines, Nevada, MO and one grandson, Ben Hines; Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Monty Hines in 2013, and a brother Bob Wholf.    Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Daniel Funeral Home with Mike Gage officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time, at the funeral home.     Contributions are suggested and made payable to Barone Alzheimer's Care Center in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
