Larry Hagins

Larry Bryant Hagins, age 70, of Carthage, MO died Friday October 18, 2013 at Freeman Hospital West. Larry was born April 26, 1943 at Lockwood, MO to Linville Bryant and Mary Ethel (Robinson) Hagins.  He graduated Lockwood High School 1961 and moved to Kansas City where he lived and worked until he moved back to Lamar in the mid 1980's where he worked as a prototype maker until 2013.  On May 9, 1986 he married Linda Arlene Splitter at Miami, OK. Larry is survived by his wife Linda; sons, Michael Hagins of Lathrop, MO, Leland & Dena Splitter, Nevada, MO, and Anthony & Kim Splitter, Joplin, MO; daughters, Jodi Lynn & David Delana, Warrensburg, MO, Cynthia & Jack Bryan, Branson, MO and Angela & Mike Yow, Oronogo, MO; three brothers, Lee Hagins, Jerico Springs, MO, Lonnie & Pat Hagins, Cassville, MO, Eugene & Beverly Hagins, Lamar; and one sister, Linda Hagins, Lamar; grandchildren, Heather Lynn Delana, Madison Bryan, Malayna Bryan, Kimberlee Splitter, Austin Splitter, Zachary Splitter, Brad Doughtry, Tracy Doughtry, Samantha McDonald, Matt Splitter, Nick Splitter, Blake Splitter, Brandon Splitter, Caleb Yow, Savannah Yow, Sophia Yow and Seanna Yow; one aunt Ruth Farmer, Casper, WY and one cousin, Ken Farmer, Casper, WY. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Daniel Funeral Home with Rob Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenfield Cemetery, Jerico Springs, MO. There will be no formal visitation, but friends may pay their respects after 9:00 am Wednesday at Daniel Funeral Home. Contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
