Karla Fay Thornton

Karla Fay Thornton, age 57, of Lamar, Missouri passed away January 13, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
 
Karla was born May 4, 1965 in Neosho, Missouri to Leroy Gene Sullivan and Carol Marie (Sortors) Sullivan. Karla graduated from Greenfield High School in the class of 1983. 

Karla enjoyed working in the yard taking care of her flowers, she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She had an infectious personality and laugh that will be greatly missed.
 
Survivors include a son, Dustin Lee Bough; a brother, Kevin Max Sullivan; and a sister, Karen O'Brien, all of Lamar, MO. 

Karla was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Wayne Stewart and brother-in-law, Bill O'Brien. 
 
A celebration of life for Karla, will be held a later date.
