John Millirons

John Robert Millirons, age 62, of Lamar, MO died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. John was born September 7, 1950 at Strong City, KS, to Joseph William Millirons and Thelma Mae (Watchous) Millirons.  He graduated El Dorado Springs High School in 1968. On November 8, 1975 he married Teresa Lynn Wallace at Nevada, MO and together they raised their daughter Kimberly Sue. Before retirement, John worked as a Supervisor for MODOT in Lamar, MO.  He was a Member of Olive Branch Baptist Church at Milo, MO and most recently attended First Baptist Church in Lamar, MO.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge #2800, the Eagles, was a Shriner, and enjoyed riding his Harley. John leaves behind his wife Teresa of the home; his mother, Thelma Wright of Lamar, MO; a brother, Tom Millirons of Milo, MO; two step-brothers, Darryl and Gregg Wright, both of Nevada, MO; a step-sister Gail Juane of TX; and two granddaughters, Morgan and Kaitlynn King. Preceding him in death were his father "Joe" Millirons; a daughter, Kimberly Sue King and a grandson, Gavin King, who both died March 26, 2005. A celebration of life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Robb Hodson officiating.
