Joann Dykes, age 82, of Lamar, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016, at Barton County Memorial Hospital.      Joann was born January 13, 1934, in Cassville, Missouri, the first of the three daughters of Lee and Ruth (Carson) Baker.      On July 3, 1952, at Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Joann married Henry Dykes. She had been an active part of Lamar Family Ministries Center.      After sharing 53 years together, Henry passed away December 29, 2005.  Joann was also preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Ruth Baker and an infant sister, Mary Dean Baker.      Survivors include a son, Gary (Paula) Dykes, Lamar; two daughters, Lisa (Greg) Evans and Debbie (Jerry) Glover, Lamar; a sister, Donna (Cy) King, Stockton, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Amanda (Dustin) Osborne, Stacy Glover & Melanie, Austin Glover & Megan, Lindsay Edwards, Christina (Kyle) James, Christopher Dykes, Zachary Dykes, Susan Conner, and Joel Evans; nine great-grandchildren, Noah, Bailey, Isabel, Hailey, Aidan, Greyson, Kyler, Ryker, and Aria; her faithful dog, Scruffy; and a large extended family.      Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5th at Lamar Family Ministries Center.  Burial will be in Howell Cemetery south of Milford, Missouri.      The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Daniel Funeral Home.      Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
