Jimmy Gene Sealey, age 84, of Lamar, Missouri passed away December 12, 2020.       .   Jim was born September 5th,1936 in King City, Missouri to Wayne and Mary Sealey. He graduated from King City High School in 1953. Jim enlisted in the Army in 1955 for a two-year tour of duty. He married Mildred Marie Bailey on December 29, 1957 in Kansas City, MO., this would have been their 63rd anniversary.   Jim began a 40 year long career with MFA starting in 1959. Most of those years were spent as manager at the MFA grain elevator in Lamar.  He retired in 2000.   Jim loved animals of all kinds and always kept well-stocked feeders in his yard. He was a big sports fan and an avid fisherman. Jim was a fixture at Lamar's city lake. It was his daily routine to go to the lake to fish and feed the ducks and geese. His last moments were spent doing both. Jim's family cannot think of a more appropriate place for his passing.   Jim is survived by his wife Mildred, son Rick Sealey and daughter Debbie Lehman, both of Lamar. Jim has a granddaughter, Nicole (Micah) Osborne and two great-grandchildren, Eli and Ella Osborne of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by two brothers; Don Sealey, Stanberry, MO and Larry Sealey, King City, MO.   Jim's parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.   No services are planned at this time. To honor Jim's passion for animals, his family encourages you to donate to the Joplin Humane Society in care of Daniel Funeral Home.   Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
