Janice Mustin

Janice Marie Mustin, age 64, of Lockwood, MO passed at her home Monday, November 10, 2014.      Janice was born August 24, 1950 at Winnsboro, TX to R.B. Shirley and Bertha (Hendon) Shirley.  She graduated John Glenn High School in Norwalk, CA and in 1969 she married Roy Arnold Hicks. He preceded her in death in 1992.  Janice was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed writing songs, playing her guitar and traveling around to sing at churches.     Survivors include one son Aaron Hicks and girlfriend Rebecca Bennett of Lockwood, MO; two daughters, Amanda Hicks and boyfriend Robert Dotson of Lockwood, MO and Rebecca Brown and husband Mike of Greenfield, MO; two sisters, Pat Wordon, Porterville, CA and Charlotte (Dennis) Bench of Lockwood, MO; and eight grandchildren.  In additions to her husband, Roy, she was preceded in death by her parents.      A service of remembrance will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Lockwood United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
