Isabel Angela Weber

Isabel Angela Weber, age 84, of Lamar, Missouri passed away March 16, 2024, at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lamar, MO.
 
Isabel was born October 12, 1939 in St. Charles, Missouri to William August Philipps and Catherine Theresa (Ell) Philipps. Isabel graduated from Duchesne Catholic High School in the class of 1957. On August 13, 1968, Isabel married Jerome Joseph Weber in St. Charles, Missouri, he preceded her in death
 
Isabel worked as a secretary for an insurance agency. She was an avid bowler, a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and a huge St. Louis Cardinal fan. She met Jerome at her Dad's farm sale in St. Charles, MO., and again a second time at a Catholic dance, and the rest was history. In 1973, Isabel and Jerome moved to Lamar and built a house northwest of town where the landfill is today.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry (Angela) Weber and Jimmy (Kara) Weber; one daughter, Angela (Clint) Mack; eight grandchildren; one brother, Jim (Ann) Philipps; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Philipps; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Isabel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerome; one brother, Bill Philipps; and one sister, Sister Mary Ann Philipps.
 
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lamar, MO., with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Lamar.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Daniel Funeral Home with a visitation to follow from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
