Grace Ann (Beall) Reese, age 78, of Lamar, Missouri passed away May 9, 2026, at Cox Barton County Hospital in Lamar, Missouri.

Grace was born March 23, 1948, in Lamar, Missouri to Homer Beall and Lola Gertrude (Long) Beall. She graduated from Lamar High School with the Class of 1966 and later attended Southwest Missouri State.

Throughout her life, Grace worked in several professions. Early on, she worked as a dental hygienist before dedicating more than ten years caring for others as a nurse’s aide at Truman Healthcare. Her last career led her to caring for piglets, and hogs at Murphy Family hog farm.

Grace had a love for movies and series of all kinds but was especially a movie buff when it came to the classics, she knew every film with Humphrey Bogart or Audrey Hepburn. She was involved in the community theater where she enjoyed performing and was cast in three local plays that were performed at the Thiebaud Auditorium in Lamar. She was a devoted animal lover who had several beloved pets of all kinds over the years. Grace was a number one fan of Willie Nelson, having attended several of his concerts with friends and family throughout her life. She loved to laugh, to dance, to celebrate, and to write and send heartfelt letters and cards to her loved ones.

Survivors include her daughter, Anna (Reese) Reagan of Springfield, MO; Dale Norwood (Dawn) of Lamar, MO; Jill Shrum of Brunswick, GA; Debby Berthot of McMinnville, OR; Gene Martin of Rockport, MA; Greg Martin of Apache Junction, AZ; Merida Solum of Queen Creek, AZ; Melanie St. Clair of Queen Creek, AZ; Melissa Eddings of Salem, OR; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of dear friends who will miss her dearly.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Norma Norwood and Donna Martin; one brother, Ralph Wayne Beall; and one nephew, Brett Beall.

A private family service will take place at a later date.
