Gary James Reichard, age 69, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by his loved ones.
Gary was born on June 19, 1956, in Madison, Wisconsin, to Clarence Emil Reichard and Grace Dolores (Lokken) Reichard.
Gary spent much of his life as a truck driver—a career that allowed him to see many places but always brought him back home to the family he cherished. Nothing brought him more joy than watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, play, and enjoy life. They were truly his pride and joy.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Reichard; three daughters, Dawn Harney, Tonya (Daniel) Choate, and Daisy (Dustin) Wyland; and his sister, Sharon (Ed) Zimmerman. Gary also leaves behind 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, with more on the way; and many honorary grandchildren whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Gregory Reichard; his sister, Tami Shores; and his great-grandson, Luke Crockett.
Gary will be remembered for his deep love for his family and the happiness he found in the simple moments shared with them. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 28, 2025, at Oak Grove (Oakton) Cemetery in Lamar, Missouri. All are welcome to attend.
