Eulah D. Watkins

Eulah D. Watkins, age 88, of Lamar, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008, at Truman Healthcare following a 3 year illness.        Eulah was born May 23, 1920 in the Esrom Community of Barton County, MO to Ira and Daisy (Onstott) Williams.  She was a lifelong resident of Barton County.  On November 15, 1939 she married Tommy Watkins.  He preceded her in death August 19, 1977.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lamar.        She is survived by one son, John Watkins, of Lamar; two grandchildren, Craig Watkins and his wife Jennifer, of Carterville, MO; and Brandi Russell and her husband David, of Oronogo, MO; and 4 great grandchildren, Drew, Lake, and Lance Russell, and Isabella Watkins.  She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.        Eulah was preceded in death by six brothers and 4 sisters, one of which was her identical twin, Bulah Helms.       Funeral services for Eulah will be 2:00 Thursday December 18, 2008 at Daniel Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be at the Oakton Cemetery.        Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Lamar in memory of Eulah
