Ethel White

Ethel Leona White, age 91, of Moran, Kansas and formerly of Lamar, Missouri, passed away August 16, 2019, at Moran Manor in Moran, Kansas.    Ethel was born April 26, 1928 in Irwin, Missouri to Grover Marion Giger and Theo (Riddle) Giger.    Ethel had worked at Rowland Clothing Store, managed a shoe store, was an insurance agent for Aflac, and was a hostess for Vista Tour Group. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. Ethel worked diligently to raise thousands of dollars fund raising for Multiple Sclerosis.     Survivors include two sons, Clifton Bryant and wife Threcsa, Webb City, Missouri and Charles White and wife Billie, Parsons, Kansas; one brother, Marion Giger and wife Leila, Lamar, MO; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.     Preceding Ethel in death were her parents, husband Lawrence Bryant and husband Marion White; two brothers, Clyde and George Giger; and three sisters, Thelma Owen, Wilma Rice and Virginia Giger.    Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, Missouri, with burial to follow in Oakton Cemetery.     The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m until service time, at the funeral home.
