Elizabeth "Betty" Anne Berry

Betty passed on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in Carthage, MO.  Betty was born December 14, 1933 in Hartford, KS to Frances and Homer Combs and Clarence Woods. She was raised in Jerico Springs and Sheldon, MO. She played on the girls’ basketball team while attending Sheldon High School. Betty married Robert Blanchard in December 1950 and they had 3 children together. She worked at Bee Discount, Jim and Charlie’s Market and O’Sullivan Industries, where she retired in 1996. Betty enjoyed music, dancing, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was a dedicated supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which was a cause close to her heart. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Woods, Homer and Frances Combs, sister Roberta Northup, brothers Ralph Woods, Lloyd Woods, Homer Combs Jr. Betty is survived by a sister, Cora Lynn Combs of Irving TX; her children, Bobby Blanchard and her husband Jeff of Bisbee, AZ,  Mike Blanchard of Baton Rouge, LA, and Lisa Cunningham  and husband Ronnie of Lamar MO. Grandchildren; Travis Rodebush, Holly Hutchins and Tom England, Jenny De Luca and husband Paul, David Blanchard, Melanie Blanchard, Drew Cunningham and wife Sydney, Rylee Cunningham.  Great Grandchildren; Austin England, Caleb England, Colter England, Zoey Cunningham, Ruby De Luca, as well as four great great-granddaughters. She will be dearly missed by those who called her Mom, Sister, Granny, Nanny, Grandma, and Friend. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sheldon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time, Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial Donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in care of the Daniel Funeral Home.
