Edward E. Weinstein

Edward Eugene Weinstein, age 105, of Golden City, Missouri passed away June 18, 2019. Ed was born November 18, 1913 in rural Dade County, MO to Lyman Edward and Iva Ione (Lyons) Weinstein. He was a life-long resident of Golden City area, and was a former farmer and dairyman, breeding registered Holstein cattle.  Through the years, he became a well-known self taught electrician, plumber, and master carpenter, working along side his brother and brother-in-law.  After retiring, he enjoyed raising fresh grown produce and building wood crafts.Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.Preceding  Ed in death were his brothers, Charles, Claude and Lester Weinstein; sisters, Mable Lowry and Leona Shaw; and two wives, Alta (Reynolds) Weinstein and Marguerite (Probert) Weinstein. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Golden City, MO.The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time,  at the funeral home.Contributions are suggested and payable to I.O.O.F.
