Dorma Aldyne Bradley

Dorma Aldyne Schorzman Bradley, age 89, of Lamar, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Barton County Hospital.      Dorma was born September 24, 1923, in St. Francis, Kansas, one of the twin daughters of Glenn and Gladys (Fisher) Shaul.  On December 19, 1943, at St. Francis, Dorma married Emil Schorzman and they moved to Lamar in 1947, where they farmed and raised their two daughters.  Dorma had worked at Big Smith in Lamar for 26 years, Safeway Cheese in Carthage for seven years.   Emil preceded Dorma in death February 19, 1986, and, on March 29, 1991, she married Seth Bradley.  Dorma and Seth had lived in Eagle Rock, Missouri and worked as custodians for the Cassville School District for seven years before retiring to Mission, Texas.  Upon Seth's passing on December 5, 2012, Dorma moved back to Lamar to be near family.      In addition to her husbands, Dorma was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Charlene Quarles Turner; two sons-in-law, Harold Quarles and Les Turner; her brothers, Glenn Dale and  Eugene Shaul; and a grandson, John O'Hern.      Survivors include her daughter, Donita and husband Earl Kidd, Chesterfield, Missouri; a step-son Michael (Michelle) Bradley, Pretty Prairie, Kansas; two step-daughters, Donna Sue (Tim) Krug, Chattanooga, Tennessee and Mary Palmer, Daytona Beach, Florida; three sisters, her twin Dorlyne (Clarence) Schorzman, Sharron (Merdith) Chapman, and Shirlee (Charles) Miller, all of Lamar; four grandchildren, Paul Turner, Eric Turner, Gregory Kidd, and Brian Kidd; eight step-grandchildren, Sarah Bennicheck, Candice Holt, Nicholas Krup, William Bradley, Kimberly Wood, Quentin Bradley, Tara Peknik, and Tami Bradley; eight great-grandchildren, Michael Turner, Kale Turner, BreAnna Ware, Ashley Turner, Kara Turner, Megan Kidd, Henry Kidd and Charlie Kidd; several step-great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday February 23 at Daniel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until service time.  Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.      Memorial contributions are suggested to donors choice.
