Dorlyne Viola Schorzman, age 102, of Lamar, Missouri passed away May 16, 2026, at Good Shepherd Community Care in Lockwood, Missouri.
Dorlyne was born September 24, 1923, in St. Francis, Kansas to Glenn Porter Shaul and Gladys Marian (Fisher) Shaul. On October 26, 1947, Dorlyne married Clarence Tobias Schorzman in St. Francis, Kansas, and together they shared many loving years.
Dorlyne worked as a teacher’s aide for the Lamar School District and was a faithful member of Lamar Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and treasured her role as mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors include one son, Roger Clarence Schorzman of Hollister, Missouri; two daughters, Carol Ann Buffington and Brenda Lea (Justen) Cox, all of Lamar; four grandchildren, Ryan (Leah) Godfrey of Leavenworth, Kansas, Vanessa (Mike) Manes of Joplin, Missouri, Jeffrey (Ashley) Godfrey of Republic, Missouri, and Garrett (Brittany) Cox of Fort Worth, Texas; and ten great-grandchildren, Toby Godfrey, Eden Godfrey, Samantha Godfrey, Bess Godfrey, and Silas Bo Godfrey, all of Republic, Missouri, Olivia Manes and Grayson Manes of Joplin, Missouri, and Brayden Cox, Ellie Cox, and Adalyn Cox, all of Fort Worth, Texas.
Dorlyne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Schorzman; two brothers, Glenn Dale Shaul and Glenn Eugene Shaul; and three sisters, Dorma Bradley, Shirlee Miller, and Sharron Chapman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lamar, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to either Lamar Christian Church or Barton County Senior Citizens Center, in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
