Donna Lavonne Letton

Donna Lavonne Letton, age 85, of Pittsburg, KS and formerly of Lamar, MO passed away May 15, 2019, at Via Christi Hospital. Donna was born March 27, 1934 in Quinter, KS to Frank H. and Minnie E. (Aughenbaugh) Jones. She graduated from Mindenmines High School in the class of 1951. On March 01, 1955, she married Harvey Russell Letton in  Nashville, MO Donna was a farm wife and really loved that lifestyle, working along side her husband in every aspect of farming.  She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, was a Sunday School Teacher, and Vacation Bible School Teacher.  Donna also had a Cake Decorating business where she made hundreds of cakes and enjoyed every minute of it.  Survivors include three sons, Robert Letton, Lamar, MO, Don Letton, Denver, CO, and Brian (Bonnie Rae) Letton, Pecatonica, IL; one brother, Berne (Helen) Jones, Lamar, MO; two sisters, Judy (Bob) Tolman, Lamar, MO and Noma VanDorn, Asbury, MO; five grandchildren, Grace (Patrick) Randolph, Tiffany Letton, Jayson Letton, Bret Letton,  and Wai-Yee Letton.Preceding  Donna  in death were her parents and husband Harvey Letton in 2010. Funeral services will be10:00 am Monday, May 20, 2019, at Nashville Christian Church with burial to follow in Nashville Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 pm , Sunday, May 19th, 2019 at Daniel Funeral Home.  Contributions are suggested  and made payable to  Nashville Christian Church in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
