David Allen Pierson

David Allen Pierson, age 76, of Lamar, Missouri passed away January 11, 2024, as a result of the injuries suffered December 8, 2023 from an incident on NW 10th Road in Barton County.
 
David was born November 16, 1947 to Roy Pierson and Sparkie (Dumolt) Pierson. David was raised in Lamar and graduated from Lamar in the class of 1967. He attended college in Warrensburg for one year.

David's step-dad, Dean Robinson took him under his wing plastering silos. He was a proud Boil Maker and traveled extensively with Chicago Bridge and Iron. He returned to Lamar and was a mechanic and welder for Crockett Construction Inc., keeping motors going and trailers in tip top shape. He worked for WATCO welding train cars and finished his working career as a heavy duty mechanic for Republic Landfill.

David was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the companionship of his beloved cocker spaniel, Casey.
 
Survivors include his sister, Karen and husband Jerry Crockett and dear friends, Wally and Judy Norton.

David was preceded in death by his parents.
