Daniel Slotterback, Jr.

Daniel Lewis Slotterback, Jr., age 58, of Lamar, Missouri, died Monday, May 9, 2016 at Freeman Hospital West, Joplin, Missouri.      Daniel was born, February 7, 1958 at Abington, Pennsylvania to Daniel Lewis Slotterback Sr. and Anna (Almonrader) Slotterback.  He graduated Abington High School in 1976 and had attended college.  He had worked in sales for a semi-trailer parts company as well as sales in a janitorial supply company before becoming disabled due to poor health.  Daniel loved playing golf and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.      Surviving Daniel is his former wife, Christina Slotterback and his son, Kenneth Slotterback, both of Lamar, Missouri.  He was preceded in death by his parents.      Service will be 6:00 pm, Friday, May 13, 2016 at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Slade officiating.      Contributions are suggested to Daniel Slotterback’s family in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
