Daniel Lewis Bazal

Daniel Lewis Bazal, 34, of Liberal, MO passed away unexpectedly March 23, 2018. He was born November 26, 1983 to Ed  and Cindy  (Long) Bazal. After graduating Liberal High School in 2002, he briefly attended Pittsburg State University. He worked for Miller’s Professional Imaging and as assistant to Matt Miller of Bleacher Report and was a co-host with Matt and Marshal Miller of the Stick to Football podcast. Growing up, Dan’s life revolved around sports. As an adult his life revolved around his kids and sports. He enjoyed scouting and helping research articles. Dan was loved and loved coaching Youth Liberal Sports. Dan is survived by his children Elijah Bazal 8, Maci Bazal 4 and their mother Katie Page of Liberal, MO; his parents Ed and Cindy Bazal of Liberal, MO; brothers Joe Bazal (Beth) of Liberal MO, Robert Bazal (Stephanie) of Cadott, WI; four nephews Quincy 11, Kellen 8, of Liberal, Calvin 4 Marshal 1 of Cadott, WI and a niece Natalie 4, of Liberal MO. His grandfather Jim Long of Nevada, MO also survives. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Liberal City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions are suggested to Katie Page for Dan’s children in care of Daniel Funeral Home
