Dan L. Dahlman

Daniel Lee Dahlman, 58, of Carthage, Missouri passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Carthage Health and Rehab after a short illness. Dan was born January 17, 1960 in Carthage to Albert and Frances (Estes) Dahlman. He was a 1978 graduate of Carthage High School and had worked at Leggett & Platt, Justin Boots, Flex-O-Lators, Stern Williams, and most recently Heritage Oak in Sarcoxie until his health prevented him from working. Dan enjoyed fishing, nature, and the simple things of life. He will be greatly missed! Dan is survived by his son, Derek (Rachel) Dahlman of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brothers, Doug Dahlman of Carthage and Darrell (Stacey) Dahlman of Harrisonville; sister, Denise (Mitch) Roether of Morris, Illinois; grandsons, Noah and Isaiah Dahlman; nieces and nephews, Ariane (Zack) Thomas, Josh Dahlman, Mason Davis, and Kaylee Roether. Preceding him in death were his parents, and a brother Dennis Dahlman in 1987. Services will be held 2:00 pm. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Grace Pointe Assembly of God in Carthage. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 pm. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to Dan Dahlman family in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
