Connie Sue Stump, age 72, of Lockwood, Missouri passed away January 8, 2022, at her home.   Connie was born July 7, 1949 in Lamar, Missouri to Marion Trent and Marie (Elliff) Trent.  Connie graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 1967. On July 9, 1967, Connie married Calvin Eugene Stump at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lockwood, MO.   Connie worked as a bank teller for US Bank for 15 years, was a homemaker and a farmer's wife. She was the treasurer of Round Grove Cemetery and treasurer of the First Baptist Church of Lamar. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed quilting for others as well. She loved her church and was always volunteering wherever needed, especially with the Meals on Wheels program, but her passion were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   Survivors include one daughter, Tammy (Jon) Engle of Liberal, Missouri and one son, Darren Stump of Lockwood, Missouri, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one brother, Earl (Wanda) Robinson of Nevada, Missouri, and one sister, Della Robinson of Springfield, Missouri.   Connie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son, Kevin Stump, one daughter, Kathy Stump and two brothers; Darrell Robinson and Gary Trent.   Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Lamar with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lamar, MO.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.,  Friday, January 14, 2022 at Daniel Funeral Home.   Contributions are suggested and made payable to the First Baptist Church Building Fund in care of Daniel Funeral Home.   Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
