Christian Heady

Christian James Heady, 12, of Webb City, MO, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.  On May 9, 2009, he was born in Joplin, MO, to Douglas Heady and Ashley Allen. Christian loved spending time with his family and friends, enjoyed going to the lake and playing football. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, a huge Monster Jam fan, and loved rollercoasters. In addition, Christian was a proud and faithful collector of shoes. His favorite past times were driving golf carts around the neighborhood and making Tik Tok videos with his friends. Christian is survived by his Mom, Ashley Allen; Dad, Douglas Heady and his wife Leslie Qualls Heady, "bonus mom" to Christian; a brother, Brady McClintock; maternal grandparents, Bob and Becky Allen, all of Webb City, MO; paternal grandparents, Richard and Donna Heady of Kansas City, MO; step-grandparents, Kirk and Becky Qualls; aunts and uncles, Megan and Kevin Tabereaux, Justin and Tammy Allen, Gina and Mark Weber, Dave and Ashley Groves, Andrew and Abby Weaver; cousins, Aubrey McKnight, Lukas, Tate, and Tyler Tabereaux, Justin Allen Jr., Shaylee Skaggs, Tyler, and Ava Weber; and his infamous "cancer" dogs Joe Pug and Bowie James. A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at the Webb City High School football stadium, Webb City, MO. In memory of Christain, the family suggests making memorial contributions to a charity of your choice instead of sending a flower or plant.
