Cathey L. Stanley

Cathey Lou Stanley, age 54, of Pittsburg, KS died unexpectedly at her home, Saturday, October 24, 2015.      Cathey was born October 12, 1961 at Pittsburg, KS to James and Roxan (Harvey) Atha.  She attended school in Pittsburg and had worked at Able Body Plastics in Pittsburg and had also worked as an aid at a nursing home.  Cathey enjoyed crafting, including tie dye and making jewelry. She attended FLAG Church in Pittsburg when she could.      Survivors include three daughters, Crystal (Martin) Sanchez of El Paso, TX, Darcella (Rafeal) Salas of Manhattan, KS and Marcella Boyd of Pittsburg, KS; her parents, James Atha of Arma, KS; and Roxan Harvey of Frontenac, KS; one brother, Chuckie Atha, of Pittsburg KS; two sisters, Debra Pryor of Arma, KS and Evelyn Atha of Pittsburg, KS; ten grandchildren, Martin, Nichole, Antonio, Alan, Adriane, Aaron, Zacarias, Alejandra, Ivan and Cristian.      Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 30, 2015 at Daniel Funeral Home.      Contributions are suggested to the Cathey Stanley Family in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
