Carol Lynn Boren, age 63, of Lamar, Missouri, died unexpectedly at her home, Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
Carol was born October 15, 1952 at Burbank, California to Floyed Garth Eaves and Alma Marie (Perkins) Eaves. She graduated high school at Perris, California and on March 13, 1982 she married Jimmie Boren at Riverside, California. She was a Childcare Giver for many years and attended Lamar First Assembly of God Church. Carol was a talented crafter, creating beautiful ceramic pieces as well as Southwest Indian Art pieces and had a continuing love of horses.
Survivors include her father Floyed (Norma) Eaves, Lamar, Missouri; a brother, Dave (Pam) Eaves, Lamar, Missouri, step brother, Kent (LeAnna) Sweet, Lamar, Missouri, a step brother, Steve (Priscilla) Sweet, Lamar, Missouri; brother-in-law Larry Hayworth, Lamar, Missouri; nephew, Dan (Tiffany) Hayworth, Lamar, Missouri; granddaughter, Katrina (Brandon) Sanders, Overland Park, Kansas; grandson, Tyler Boren, of the home; great-grandson, Lukas Sanders, Overland Park, Kansas and several beloved nephews, nieces, great nieces and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Jimmie Boren, 2007; her mother, Alma Marie Eaves, 2006; and a sister Cheryl Marie Hayworth, 2014.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held for Carol on January 9, 2016 at 10:30 am at Lamar First Assembly of God Church.
