Bobby Griffitt

Robert "Bobby" Eugene Griffitt, age 67, of Lockwood, Missouri passed away March 8, 2022, in Lamar, Missouri.        Bobby was born January 15, 1955 in Lamar, MO to William Aaron Griffitt Sr. and Marie Adell (Demeaux) Griffitt. Bobby graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 1974. On October 26, 1991, Bobby married Lorinda Jane Allen in Lamar, MO.   Bobby worked as a spot welder at Thorco and was a jack-of-all-trades. He loved camping and fishing.   Survivors include his wife, one son, Aaron McClane, one daughter, Joy and her husband Joe Leverich, three brothers; Billy Griffitt, Wayne and his wife Charlotte Griffitt and Garry Griffitt, five grandchildren; Chase and his wife Katy McClane, Brant McClane, Garrett McClane, Brooke McClane and Justin Weis and Karah McClane and two great-grandchildren; Paisley Weis and Austin McClane along with numerous nieces and nephews.   Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, and one step-son, John McClane.   Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2022, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the funeral home.   Contributions are suggested and made payable to the American Cancer Society or Three Rivers Hospice in care of the funeral home.   Condolences may be shared at www.dfhlamar.com
