Bob W. Dorsett

Robert W. “Bob” Dorsett, age 83, of Sheldon, Missouri died at his home after an illness. Bob was born September 22, 1935 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Frank Bernard Dorsett and Clara May (Moore) Dorsett. On June 30, 1954 he married Audrey May Taylor, and together they raised four children. Bob started working as a Carman for Santa Fe Railroad from the age of 18 until he retired in 1998. Spending time with his family was the most important thing to him. Bob is survived by three sons; Mike and his wife Connie Dorsett, Kansas City, Kansas, Mark and his wife Linda, South Greenfield, Missouri and Rob and his wife Sheryl, Grove, Oklahoma; one daughter, Jackie and her husband Terry Marks, Sheldon, Missouri; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Audrey in January 2017; and a grandson, Michael Marks in 1999. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
