Blanche Suggs

Blanche Lorene Suggs, age 92, of Claremore, Oklahoma passed away August 12, 2020, at her home.   Blanche was born January 29, 1928 in Cabool, MO to Aaron and Sarah (Morgan) Lowther. Blanche graduated from Cabool High School in the class of 1946. On August 25, 1946 she married Hugh Buster Suggs in Tulsa, OK.   Blanche was a homemaker and her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, and doing plastic canvas crafts. She was a member of the Ladies of VFW, Rebekahs, Amaranth, and Eastern Star. She enjoyed Gaither Music and spending time with her grandkids. "She enjoyed Life".   Survivors include two daughters, Lana West, Claremore, OK and Marcella (Dan) Clay, Columbia, MO; six grandchildren, Andy Baker, Rhonda Baker, Alicia Flanagan, Audra Lindsley, Desiree Stinchfield, and Joshua Groshans; 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.   Preceding Blanche in death were her husband; one daughter, Rosetta Baker; her parents; five brothers, Lloyd, Raymond, Howard, Robert, and Wesley Lowther; and two sisters, Katherine and Bernice.   Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Paradise Cemetery, Carthage, Missouri.   Contributions are suggested and made payable to American Cancer Society in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
