Billie Jean Bratton

Billie Jean Bratton, 83, of Lamar, Mo., passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2019, in Missouri. She was a former nurses aid and of the Baptist faith. She was born October 7, 1935, in Mulberry, Ark., to the late James Roy and Minnie Elizabeth (Livingston) Willmon. Survivors include her husband, Robert Lee Bratton, of the home; daughters, Debbie Ivey, of Lamar, Brenda Schmitt, of Golden City, Mo., and Glenda Braun, of Joplin, Mo.; sister, Darlene Bratton, of Mulberry; brothers, James Willmon, of Mulberry, and Jerry Willmon, of Brooksville, Fla.; three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tim Ivey, Bill Schmitt, David Braun, Roger Vansel, Perry Willmon, Eric Bowman and Bryan Odum. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 18, at Ocker Chapel of Alma, with interment at New Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening, January 17, at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Highway 64 East, Alma, AR.
