Belle Sherron

Isabelle Lorraine “Belle” Gariss-Sherron was born January 10, 1926 to Arthur and Marie (Porter) Gariss.  She was reborn at the age of 15.  She went to be with her Lord on April 9, 2010.        Belle was a school teacher in many of the Rural Schools of Barton County, also in Golden City, Stockton, and Springfield.  She currently lived in Springfield, Missouri.        She leaves behind one brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Fontella Gariss, Lamar; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Pam Sherron, Greenfield, Jerry and Linda Sherron, Golden City, and Janis Sherron, Port Washington, Wisconsin.  Belle had eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of children who’s lives she touched as a teacher.        Visitation will be at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar, Missouri on Tuesday, April 13th between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held at Milford Christian Church in Milford, Missouri on Wednesday, April 14th at 10:00 a.m.        Belle will be laid to rest at Howell Cemetery next to her son Donnie, who preceded her in death.        The family requests in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to Howell Cemetery in care of Daniel Funeral Home.        Condolences may be sent on-line at www.danielfuneralhome.net
