Leona Pearl "Babe" Doyle, age 88 passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.      Babe was born September 9, 1924 in Lamar to Ira and Edna Stahl.  On April 3, 1942, at Pittsburg, Kansas, she married Franklin John Doyle and they had shared nearly 46 years together before his death February 24, 1988.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul Stahl; two sisters, Betty Gruver and Lucille Hughes; a son, Frankie Lee Doyle; and a grandson, Max Ray Britt.      Babe will be remembered for her hospitality and generosity toward family, friends, or anyone needing assistance.  Always a hard worker, Babe cleaned houses, provided child care for countless youngsters as well as working at the Blue Top and the Donut Shop.       Babe was cared for during her illness by the grandson she and Franklin raised and his fiancé, Joe Manco and Shirley Ayers, of the home. Additional survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Art & Sharlene Doyle, Ceres, California; two daughters, Jeannie & Pete Gordon, Eagle Point, Oregon and Eunice & John Lewis, White City, Oregon; grandchildren, Atha Spurgeon, Lamar, Michael & Megan Manco, Springfield, John Manco, Lamar, Bill & Nina Evans, and Debbie & Brian all of Modesto, California, Jim & Tammy Medeiros, Eagle Point, Oregon, Frankie Britt, Chowchilla, California, Nellie & Brenda Britt, Eagle Point, Oregon, Jason Hare, Rehovot, Israel, Amanda Wright, Greenfield, Jason & Carol Manco, Lamar, Lee Doyle, Golden City, Carl Doyle & Alisha of Lamar, & Lisa Doyle, Lamar, many great-great grandchildren: and a large extended family.      Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Daniel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday.  Burial will be in Howell Cemetery south of Milford, Missouri.      Memorial contributions are suggested to the Doyle family to help with funeral expenses.
