Anna M. Morris

Anna Marie Morris, age 53, of Liberal, Missouri, died Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg, Kansas after a battle with cancer.       Anna was born, March 23, 1962 at Carthage, Missouri to Jackie Gene Rea and Patricia Sue (Riley) Rea.  She attended schools in Liberal and had worked 10 years at Bank of Mindenmines, as an Assistant Manager for Casey’s General Store, and 10 years at Barton County Mutual Insurance.  Her grandchildren were her greatest love.  She also enjoyed fishing, camping and swimming.      Anna is survived by one son, Michael Morris; her mother, Patricia Rea; two step-sons, John Morris and Jody Morris; a brother, Jackie Rea Jr; all of Liberal; three grandchildren, Nevaeh Morris, Lilly Morris, and Jeremy Morris, all of Illinois; and a step grandson, Gavin Morris.  Anna also leaves behind many relatives and friends.      Preceding her in death were her father, Jackie Rea Sr. and a brother, Burton Rea, on December 12, 2014.      Friends and family will gather to celebrate Anna’s life, at 1:00 pm, Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Liberal Community Park Building.
